3M Particuate Filter 5925 P2 - Box of 10 Pairs

Provides protection against: Particulates (P2), including those containing oil.

The 3M particulate filter 5925, P2 can be used in industries where excess levels of particulates are present in the workplace atmosphere where gas/vapour protection is also required. When there is a need for combination gas/ vapour and particulate protection (e.g. paint spraying), fitting of the 5925 particulate filter and the 501 retainer over the required 60xx gas/vapour filter will give a combination gas/ vapour & particulate filter.

These combination style filters will be capable of providing protection against dusts, mists and fumes as well as specific gas/vapours. It is a P2 rated particle filter for use against mechanically & thermally generated particulates at levels up to 10 times the Exposure Standard on a half face mask and 50 times on a full facemask.

NOTE: The 5925 filter should be installed with the printed side down i.e. facing the gas filter and the clear side facing out. This allows details to be read even after use. It also provides improved service life as the non printed side has a top layer designed to reduce clogging
 

• Common Applications/Hazards: For protection against certain particles, dusts, mists and fumes such as sanding, grinding, cutting, drilling metal, masonry, wood, concrete and mist droplets from spraying
• To be fitted with the 3M 6000 Series Cartridges and the 3M 501 Retainer
• The 5925 filter meets the performance requirements of AS/NZS1716.
